Today the servants go to Kellion, and Mrs. Grant will make arrangements. and she will take with her a stock of necessities, so that by our daily needs we shall not attract the local attention; Support will provide us non-perishable food from London. Thanks to Margaret's wise and generous treatment of the servants who decide to stay, we have a staff we can count on. And they have already been warned about secrecy, so as not to be afraid of gossip from the inside. Indeed, since the servants will be in London after their preparations are completed at Kellion, there will by no means be too many subjects to gossip in detail, however, we must begin the immediate work of packing at once, and will leave the subsequent procedures till later when we have leisure .
