Selena sniffled and wiped her tears before standing to her feet. It felt like she had done all of this for nothing.

What was the point of coming to see the Moon goddess when she still had to be the one to save the pack? If anything, it felt like not only did she have to save the pack, but also that she did not have as much time as she may have thought that she may have had.
