Chapter 150. The Sun Festival

So there was this festival that was being held today, and that was where Selena and her family were headed. It had been years since they had been together as a family, and this felt so good.

Lily’s illness used to always be so serious, so even when they used to make plans to go somewhere, when the time would come up, she would be too sick for them to go. It was not something that they held against the little girl; if anything, they understood.

But now…gosh…now they were finally going somewhere. And that somewhere was not a hospital or a clinic. They were going to the first and only Sun Festival of the year. It was much different from the one for the moon.

Usually, this was supposed to be held at the end of the year, around December, but because of the whole thing with the sun getting darkened earlier, the pack decided to have the celebration much sooner.
