Chapter 158. Broken Doors

Beta Leon was not home; he was out on his morning run.

He had watched the omega leave with Axiel for her training half an hour ago, and he was happy that the girl had finally accepted her role as the white-haired Luna.

He was also happy that things had gone almost back to normal. Everything was not exactly the same, but at least Cassie had returned to the house. The sun was back to normal, and the rivers had cleared up.

He felt like everything was finally falling into place.

Yeah, he was a bit worried about the omega going up against Malek, but he knew that if she was not up for such a task, the Moon goddess would have never chosen her. So he just had to stop the overthinking and trust that it was all going to work out in the end.

Running, the wind hit him in the face. Each time his feet slapped the concrete in a rhythmic flow, he felt a rush. He loved running; it always made him feel alive. And it was something that really helped him with his anxiety.<
