Axiel watched the omega open the door of the car, getting inside and sitting behind the steering wheel. And as much as he felt bad about what he had done, he also knew that if it were anyone else, he would have done the same.

He had no right to want to treat her differently, not when she was the pack’s last hope. Not when she was the one everyone was counting on. So if that meant that he had to be a monster to prepare her, he was going to be just that.

He also knew that there was no way she could leave because he had the keys to the car. She might have managed to get in, but that did not mean that she could leave.
