Chapter 156. Glowing Veins

Selena could not believe her eyes. She watched in horror as blood gushed out of the neck of the guy, her heart pounding so hard that it felt like she was going to have a heart attack. Her body had chills, and her breathing was heavy and fast.

She could see that he was dying; she could see that he was losing his life right before her very eyes. And all in the damn name of training. “Oh my god!” She cried, tears blinding her vision for a few seconds before she finally decided to do something, or she was going to remember this day for the rest of her life, telling it to her therapist for the next ten to twenty years.

But what was she supposed to do? She wanted to heal him; to help him, but she did not know how to do that. The last time, it had just happened in the moment.
