Staring right back at her was Malek, and he had a small, sad smile clinging to his lips. There was an emotion in his eyes that the omega was dying to decipher, but she just could not.
Her heart pounded in her chest as she stared at him, waiting for some reason for him to speak or do something; to do anything. But all he did was give her a small nod before turning his attention from her and focusing on the traffic light.
It turned green right at that second, and the guy pressed on the gas with his feet and drove away, leaving her there.
You see, Selena had already been in her head a lot about this whole being the white-haired Luna thing. And now, after seeing Malek, so many thoughts were racing through her head. She was even more indecisive and confused now.
The car behind her honked loudly, reminding her that she was at a green traffic light, holding up all the other cars at the back. So she swallowed hard, releasing a shaky breath before pressing on the gas
