Chapter 175. Red Eyes

Selena was cold, she was shivering because she was wet and because the winds were chilly as if they were in Antarctica. She reached for the doorbell, ringing it a few times as they waited.

Then she decided to check on the beta, because she knew that if she was cold, that would mean that Leon would be freezing. Considering that he was shirtless.

But when she looked at him, he seemed okay. That was the thing, he seemed okay, it didn’t mean that he was. He was not shaking as much as she was, and he was paying attention to the door, waiting for it to open.

She was about to ask him if he was okay but then the door made a sound as it was being opened, stealing back her attention. She looked over and watched it open, revealing an older gentleman standing there with a look on his face that was quite hard to decipher.

“How may I help you?” The man asked in a monotone.

“Can we at least come inside? It’s freezing,” Leon said.

The man nodded, opening the door
