Chapter 180. Downhill

Selena had to change into something different because they had to leave the mansion. What Leon had said was something that she was still trying very hard to digest. She was still trying so hard to mentally chew on it, to make sense of it.

And gosh, she did know how to feel about it, but the truth was that she just could not. She could not feel. Maybe it was because she was in shock. Maybe it was because she was still trying to process what had happened.

As she sat in the car right next to the beta, she stared straight forward. She wanted to ask him if he was sure about what he had told her, but she decided against it. She kept her thoughts to herself until they finally reached their destination.

Leon killed the engine of the car and removed his seatbelt before opening the door and getting out of the vehicle. The omega soon got out too and followed him. Both of them walked into a huge building and then made their way to reception.
