Chapter 178. Hospital Machines

Bodi’s eyes fluttered open and they were flooded with light. He blinked a few times and they cleared up. They finally adjusted and he was staring at the ceiling. He had no idea where he was but he knew for certain that he was not home, nor at work.

He tried to swallow but his throat and mouth were so dry that it hurt a bit to do so. Sighing, he turned to the right and saw a few things that made him realize that he was in a hospital. That was when memories came rushing into his mind.

He could remember everything, he had been beaten by the guy who the dark prophecy was about. It had happened in his car, and he had been told to say that it was the alpha who had done it to him.

But there was no way that Bodi was going to do that. He was for sure going to report the crime, but he was going to tell the truth.
