Death.
It’s a funny thing when you really think about it. One minute, a person is right there, and the next, they’re gone. You’re just left with an empty shell of who they were; left with just a cold body that does not respond anymore.
They’re just gone…
It’s not funny, really. It’s sad. It’s sad as f*ck. You don’t even know where that person is going; whether hell or heaven is real. And then your mind can’t help but torment you over and over with memories from the past, waking up emotions that you never even knew existed.
But they’re gone, and there is nothing that you can do.
You want to be strong. You want to be the kind of person who ‘understands’. You want to be the kind of person who understands that people are born and they eventually die. You want to brush past the fact that your heart is being stabbed over and over, and that it will continue to be stabbed by the loss for the rest of your life.
You just learn to live with the stabbing pain
