Chapter 235. Genetic Markers

Selena was in a hospital bed, her body feeling weird, but it felt okay. She felt lighter for some reason. It was hard to explain, but she knew that something had happened. Something was not right…but at the same time, she did not know if something was even wrong. 

It was just a feeling that she did not particularly like. And it was giving her anxiety. 

She could remember what had happened; how she had talked to the Moon goddess and had come to the hospital after learning how to bring someone back from the dead, even though it held risks. She had also chosen her little sister. As much as she loved Elijah and wanted him back so badly, she also would not know what to do if she lost her sister forever. 

So although she did not regret her choice, she was saddened that she could not save Elijah. 

She looked around the room and sniffled dryly, a weird feeling wrapped tightly around her head. She was not in pain or anything, but she was not completely ok
