Chapter 239. Not a Pity-Win

“Cassie…?” Selena called out to the blonde girl. But the more the omega stared at her, the more it was obvious that something was not right. Something was terribly wrong. “Cassie…” She said the girl’s name once more and then watched a very creepy smile spread across the lips of whoever that was now. 

Because that was definitely not Cassie. 

“Come on, Selena. We need to talk…” Cassie said in a totally normal voice. “It’s important. It has to do with Malek and the pack.” She took a step closer. 

Selena felt like the last thing that she was to be doing would be going down there to talk to the blonde girl, but at the same time, there was a part of her that was telling her that the time for fear had passed. Elijah was already dead. Vance and all the other councilmen were already dead as well.
