Chapter 90. Under One Condition

Cassie swallowed hard. Right now, she was more concerned about Selena’s condition than threats from the Beta. Without answering, she pulled the phone from her ear and ended the call.

Sighing shakily, she blocked his number and then did the same for the Alpha. She didn’t want to talk to either of them—not until she knew the Omega was okay, and not until she had convinced the girl to keep her mouth shut about what had really happened.

She sat there for a few more minutes, but each passing second felt heavier than the last, until she felt like she was suffocating. She was sweating even more now, completely riddled with anxiety. Cassie stood up and rushed down the hallway, making her way out of the hospital. She didn’t know whether the Omega was going to live or die, but she couldn’t just sit there and wait. The anxiety was choking her.

She needed fresh air. She need
