I was getting tired of wandering around the mansion all day while everyone was out there battling the danger to our home. Then I felt the hunter’s spear piercing into my wolf, and I realised I would be no help in fighting hunters or Kahn’s wolves.
As the sun began its daily descent, I went outside. The late afternoon breeze was sweet and soothing.
I felt like running through the trees. Athena’s mansion was surrounded by healthy, tall trees and acres of land. I exhaled deeply and held the spot where the ache hurt the most and summoned my wolf.
