Gabbie POV

“This is private property,” he growled.

I held my hands up with a thundering heart. “I-I know. I’m Athena’s granddaughter.”

He crossed his tattooed arms and frowned. “Athena has a granddaughter?”

He marched across the room and slammed his fist on the light switch. The lights shone on his striking blue eyes. I took a step back at the shock. His defined jawline, even the shade and hairstyle of his hair, was incredible. He was tall and built, but his eyes, though pale in shade, hung heavy with darkness.

“Well?” He snapped.

I blinked. “I-I…uh… yes, she does. Two granddaughters and a grandson. I didn’t know about another one.”

“I’m not Athena’s grandson,” he smirked.

Oh goddess, air was sucked out of my lungs. The smile was similar but carried an edge of mischief. I’m not okay, I’m going to faint because I didn’t know what I was seeing.

“Uh… who are you again? Just to be sure I’m not seeing things.”
