“Dad, what’s going on?” Kade asked.
Alpha Aiden stepped inside, followed by his less-than-pleased wife. I didn’t think Selma would ever accept me.
“You’ve brought her back,” Aiden said.
I swallowed. Kade inched close, wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer.
“It’s time you accept it. Both of you,” Kade said firmly.
His parents shared a stare. “And the pack? What will they think? We have a reputation, Kade,” Aiden said.
“A bad reputation. Things have to change. You know fated mates have disappeared from the Sanders pack, the number of powerful wolves has fallen, and it’s because of everything we’ve done.”
