Finally, Gabbie and I were Alpha and Luna of the Sanders pack. I watched as her smile brightened up her face and my entire life. I knew the battles were still there, but I wanted to enjoy this night with her. She was the most important person in my life.

The entire pack showed up to welcome their new Luna. Their acceptance of her was the least I could ask for. My friends were here, though it pained me, Gareth was locked up somewhere or worse.

“We’re actually here!” Gabbie squeezed my hands.

I held her face and smiled. “Yeah, we did it.”
