Chapter 230
Stormy POV
I blinked my eyes open. Everything was so blurry. A red coiling chandelier hung from the ceiling. It had two emerald lights. That didn’t make any sense. I must have hit my head harder than I thought.
“You’re awake!” A woman cried.
It wasn’t a mystical red chandelier. It was a woman.
She beamed at me as if I were a new born child.
“Alex hasn’t stopped pacing, but I told him you needed your rest, so I kicked him out.”
I sat up on the bed, and my body protested.
We were back at my house in Henry Pack.
"Everything hurts," I whimpered.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Do you need anything?"
I shook my head. I didn't know what I needed right now. My brain was still foggy and my body protested every chance it got.
“Who are you? How did we get here so fast?”
“Fast? I don’t know about that, but you’ve been asleep for five hours.”
“Five hours?” I gasped. “No way!”
“I just figured you needed a nap.”
