Gabbie POV

I woke up in my bed wearing his shirt. I couldn’t recall when Kade broke into the omega quarters and tucked me in. The girls were getting ready around me yet I couldn’t help feeling like I was in an empty room. At least I had his shirt to remind me of his scent. I fisted the front and brought it to my nose.

“Hey, aren’t you getting up?” Blair asked.

“Why?” I asked, pulling my blanket closer to me. I didn’t want to explain why I was wearing Kade’s shirt.

“I suggest you not go to breakfast,” Emery said as she pulled a purple t-shirt over her head.

“It’s not Turkey soup again is it?”

Emery and Blair shared a burrow-knitted stare.
