Book 3: Feeling Her Presence
Leandros’s POV
I woke up at the crack of dawn to wrap up the work around the house. I had a mountain load of work to take care of before dropping the pups at Lena’s play school and heading to the office. Ever since Carla fell ill and discontinued as nanny to the triplets, I was in a soup. For four years, she had handled them well, and I didn’t have to worry about them. But I couldn’t complain. She was genuinely sick and needed a break. After all, tending to the triplets was the most tiresome work on earth!
After a hectic morning, I dropped the pups at their school and headed for work. Lena had offered to take the pups along with hers to her house. It helped immensely and I could go to work in peace. Otherwise, I would have been in a bigger soup.
As I headed towards the marketplace, Leo grew restless. ‘She’s here, Leandros!’ he gasped, and so did I.
