Zephyrus’s POV

I saw the jaw-dropped look on her face and rolled my eyes. Didn’t she know already about Cassie? Why couldn’t she admit she went to meet Alpha Zach? A fresh wave of jealousy shot through my body at the memory of the enemy. It made me want to embed myself deep inside her again. Then she wouldn’t be able to think of another!

‘This time, it’s my turn,’ growled Zeus.

‘I’ll decide that.” I curbed him for the time being. The heat inside me rose as I continued to glare at her. Yes, I was jealous, excessively so. Why wouldn’t I be? Regardless of my aura, I was having a tough time controlling my urges around her. I couldn’t tolerate the heat! Finding my mate, marking her, claiming her, yet having her thinking of escaping me was the worst punishment I could get. It was horrible and torturous!

“I’m sure that’s a different Cassie. I’m looking for an Omega who used to serve my mother twenty years ago.” Her voice brought me out of my reverie
