Alexander’s POV

“It is only right that you make a final judgement now, Alpha. You can’t keep them locked up forever, you know that, right?” Blake insisted and I was literally fighting back the urge to cut him off completely with the Alpha command he couldn’t resist, but that wouldn’t affect just him, everyone at the Pack house would be affected.

We have been on this for the past hour but he’s been acting like a child. I couldn’t help but think of calling his mate to have him distracted or something.

“I can keep them locked forever, Blake. It doesn’t take me a single lift of my finger. And you know that,” I muttered casually, completely relaxed like I haven’t been having this same back and forth with him for over an hour.

“But your mate wouldn’t like that.” He muttered and I froze.

He always had the tendency of bringing Danica into an argument between us but each time he does it seems to leave me surprised because somehow it always got to me.
