Carolina looked at Carlos in surprise, noticing a hint of panic in his expression, and asked, "What’s going on?"

"Wait until I get back, and then we’ll discuss it," he replied, looking out the car window. Although he said nothing was going on, she had a feeling that something was amiss. When she lived in the same house as Carlos, she often found him mysterious, doing things she couldn’t quite understand.

Back at the beachside villa, Shayna was waiting at the door.

"Carolina, why don’t you go upstairs and rest for a bit? Carlos and I have something to discuss with Shayna."

"Alright."

Shayna glanced at Carolina as she walked up the stairs and then turned to Carlos, asking, "Carlos, didn’t Red take her with him?"

"No, I didn’t allow it."

Shayna seemed a bit irritated but then chuckled. In her eyes, a mischievous glint appeared. "Could it be that Red doesn’t like her anymore?"
