Chapter 50. Leaving the Temple
Imagine someone you didn’t have any relations with, as in you just got to know each other, and that person was now telling you that they want you to live well.
Doesn’t that sound weird?
Your first question might be:
Why are you saying this?
Do I know you?
Who are you?
And that’s exactly what Evangeline asked the fairy. “Who exactly are you, and why are you saying this?”
In those golden eyes, Evangeline could see many complicated emotions intertwining: sadness, pain, love, guilt, and many others, and that set her heart ablaze with deep curiosity to know why the fairy was looking at her with those emotions.
