Chapter 58. Lawrence’s Background
The yellow sun hung in the sky, its orange hue casting a warm glow over the towering trees, announcing the arrival of a beautiful morning imbued with the fresh scent of rain.
In the southern part of the jungle were three tents, and the area was filled with some guards in brown armor.
Some of them had already removed their armor as they didn’t feel that cold, while others had become accustomed to it and chose not to remove it.
The men totaled ten, with some perched atop the trees, others beneath the trees as the wet leaves made contact with their skin, and some in front of their tents.
