Book 3: Releasing Her
Eros's POV
I became an orphan when things looked so hopeful. My dad was responding to me. How did he deteriorate within a split second?
“Everything is over, Zion. Who will I live for?” I covered my face brokenly.
“You’ll live for yourself, Eros. Let your parents go. They might have united already in heaven. They can’t be happy to see you so broken. Accept the reality and let them be happy wherever they are.”
He was also in tears as he wheeled me back to my room.
“You’re right. Dad couldn’t have lived a second with the guilt. It’s good that he united with Mamá in heaven.”
The thought comforted me a little. Zion left to complete the hospital formalities for my dad while I sat in a dazed state.
After two days, I was discharged, and the boys took me to my father’s house. With all my childhood memories of my parents there, I couldn’t live anywhere else. Zion went back to his house to Andrea, and the boys stayed over with me.
