Chapter 82. Stay
“What’s the nurse doing? Calling Papa?” Ditto laughed at Sister Celine’s stupid idea. The nurse lowered the cell phone that was almost pressed to her ear. Instead of taking offense, she sighed.
Sister Ditto’s compassionate look silenced Ditto’s mouth.
“Even if Ditto dies, his world won’t change,” she said irritably.
Boys don’t shed tears easily. So, no matter how many tears in Ditto’s eyes, the emotional turmoil was held back as long as possible. He didn’t want to look whiny.
“You also have your world, Ditto,” said another nurse.
Sister Celine quickly replied. “That’s right. Your world won’t change because of your parents’ job. You can attend school, play, and enjoy your youth like any other child. You—”
“Have you ever been called sons of bitches?”
Sister Celine and the others were silent. Ditto chuckled once; then, his gaze went blank again. “Then let Ditto complain to God.” Ditto finally resigned himself to throwing his body outside.
