Chapter 29

Alpha's POV 

As the Alpha of my wolf pack, I have a responsibility to protect my people from all threats. So when I discovered that a member of my pack, a lady whose loyalty I had always thought was unwavering, had been plotting against me with my enemy Davis, I was furious. But as the leader, I needed to remain calm and think rationally about the best way to handle this delicate situation.

When I called her into my office, she entered with her head bowed and her eyes downcast. I knew that she was expecting the worst- banishment or even death. However, her reaction was different from what I expected. She knelt down before me and begged for forgiveness.

"I know what I have done is unforgivable but please, Alpha, forgive me. It was not my intention to hurt you or betray the pack. Davis had his ways with words and convinced me to join him. I was foolish and now I regret it," she pleaded, her voice choked with emotion.
