"Yeah, it's definitely working," I heard her say confidently. A sly smile spread across my face as I held her tightly against my chest. "I'm glad," I replied, and she nodded gently.

"I think the witches have taken a liking to you," I teased, and she reluctantly broke the hug, staring into my eyes.

"You really think so?" she asked, and I nodded. I gazed into her eyes, and we shared an intense connection. Lost in thought, I felt an overwhelming desire to have her all to myself. It seemed like she felt the same way from the way she looked at me.
