Caroline's POV

They led me to the vampire castle and as we strolled through, I noticed the guards around the castle. There were just too many there and seemed really well-trained. It probably would be difficult to penetrate a place like this.

Maids moved around the place, looking busy and occupied with whatever they were doing. They only stopped to acknowledge Peter's presence as they bowed to him and continued with what they were doing.

Glancing around the place, I realized how beautiful it was. The place was big and beautiful, almost like it was removed from a fiction book. The place was the opposite of what I had expected. Yes, I expected to be big and beautiful, but not this much. It looked so royal.
