Caroline's POV

I watched as everyone's faces morphed in surprise as they turned to look at Rose differently now. I couldn't believe that Veronica would address her as her sister. Veronica, who had a nonchalant expression throughout the whole ordeal, only shrugged as she turned to look at me.

She raised a brow before she turned to leave, but Rose grabbed her hand and forced her to repeat what she was saying. "What did you just say?"

"How am I your sister? And why did I lose my memory?" She inquired, and everyone seemed curious to know as well. Veronica chuckled nervously.

"What do you want from me? Isn't the truth enough for you? How am I supposed to know what happened to you and why you lost your memory? That's your problem, not mine. Try to figure out that by yourself," Veronica still had that air around her.
