Sophia's POV
The morning sun cast a golden hue on the company grounds as Derick and I arrived, unaware of the storm brewing in our absence. But as we stepped through the entrance, a sight that shattered our fragile peace awaited us.
Blake, Mia, Miranda, and Theresa stood there, smirking with an air of triumph. Their presence alone sent chills down my spine, and I felt a knot tighten in the pit of my stomach. Anita, who had been a trusted ally, now stood beside them, a treacherous smile on her face.
My voice quivered as I demanded an explanation. "What is the meaning of this, Miranda? Anita?"
Miranda laughed coldly, her eyes gleaming with malice. "Oh, Sophia, dear, you fell right into our trap. Anita was merely a pawn, and you were so easily swayed by her. We manipulated the situation, leading you to believe that Blake had been voted out, all to throw you and Derick off guard."
