Chapter 72. Comforting and Desiring

Third-Person POV

Miranda had tried to forget about Adrian but found that she could not. She regretted calling Iris about him, to threaten and warn her to leave Adrian. The way she had responded had made Miranda realize that she was no match for the fiery princess.

But she still felt Iris was to blame for capturing Adrian’s heart the way she had.

“That bitch!” she fumed. “She seduced Adrian and now she claims she is no longer with him!”

She decided it was time to visit Adrian. Since he took her back home, she had not visited. She had been plotting a way to get him to notice her as a woman. She did not mind seducing him, if that was what it took.

Then she heard of Iris’s intended wedding and felt that was the opportunity she needed. She set out for the Moonlight pack. The next day was going to be the wedding and she wanted to attend it with Adrian as his plus one.

“Miranda, how good to see you,” Andrew greeted. He was not really enthusiastic
