Chapter 79. Conflicting Emotions

Iris’s POV

When my father offered his island to you for our honeymoon, I was sure Sean would not accept. He would want to take his bride to his pack. He was an Alpha after all and had a duty to his pack. I was shocked and pleasantly surprised when he accepted. I had wanted to go to the island. I wasn’t sure I was ready to start my Luna duties for now.

I recalled how the seer had ended the wedding ceremony, “I now pronounce you Alpha and Luna of the Golden Moon Pack!” before asking us to kiss.

In his shorts and cowboy hat and sunshades, I could see how handsome Sean looked. I knew he was handsome but I hadn’t really looked at him till now. He was hot and I blushed as I stole glances at him, looking at his full lips and how it had felt when we had kissed at our wedding. I had wanted to show my family that I was happy with the marriage but the kiss had stirred me deeply, more than I cared to admit. He took off his sunshades and wiped his eyes with his hands, h
