Chapter 8. Trying Hard to Recall
Third-Person POV
“Say what?” Adrian shouted, choking on the water he had just taken a sip of.
“Maybe we should redefine our relationship,” she repeated. “because I do not mind allowing you use my body to relax your brain enough to end your amnesia.”
“You can’t be serious,” he whispered. He was shocked she could suggest such a thing. What was wrong with her?
“Am I not good enough for you?” she asked, turning around for his assessment.
“It’s not that and you know it!” he answered, his brain swirling.
“Then what is it?” she asked, exasperated.
Since he woke from his coma, she had been trying in subtle ways to show him she was available but he didn’t seem to be noticing her as a woman.
