Chapter 16. Jealousy (1)

Sean’s POV

As we danced, I found myself pulling her close to me. The feeling that she might have been jealous of my relationship with Eileen made me happier than I cared to admit and hope flared in my heart.

As our bodies moved in tune to the music, I felt excited. I wanted Iris terribly. My body was reacting violently to our proximity. My wolf, Sly, was trying to break loose. I kept restraining him with a supreme effort.

I was losing the battle and knew I was going to kiss her and damn the consequences, when I saw her eyes following someone. All at once I was jealous of the person that had suddenly claimed her attention and as I followed the direction her eyes were focused on, I saw that it was her companion for the evening. The young Alpha Andrew and I bit my inner lip in indignation. Why did he have to come in now?

Iris may have said, they were very good friends but I had seen the way Andrew looked at her. There was nothing platonic about it at all.
