Chapter 9. Undesirable Encounter

Iris’s POV

When we got back from walking the garden, Andrew was still where I had left him, only that his Beta, Vin was speaking to him and was just about to leave when he sighted me and turned back to his Alpha and whispered something to him. Andrew looked up and when he saw us approaching, he waved his Beta away.

Vin walked away, only nodding politely to me as he passed by me.

Lyndon walked me back to me seat and bowed curtly to me before walking away but I noticed that his eyes were on Andrew and Andrew himself was staring daggers at him. Lyndon smiled and walked back to his seat. But those few moments I could sense the tension between the two men. I would have felt flattered that Alpha Andrew was jealous that another man was competing with him for my attention but I wasn’t.
