They looked at each other for a moment, then laughed softly.
“So, is this set in stone? We’re taking this place?” Tamara asked.
“Set in stone,” Damian replied firmly. “I’ll handle the contract tomorrow. Next week we’ll start the initial construction phase. Andre will assist with the design, and you’ll handle the management side. I’ll focus on operations and the concept.”
Tamara gave him a thumbs-up. “Deal.”
Damian closed his sketchbook and put it back in his bag.
“Oh, by the way,” Tamara said, suddenly remembering something. “Who are you planning to bring on for the kitchen? The chef?”
Damian smiled. “I’m still thinking about it. But yesterday Andre mentioned he knows a chef he usually collaborates with when opening new client restaurants. We can meet them next week as well.”
Tamara looked pleased.
Damian looked at Tamara sincerely. “Thank you for trusting me, Tam. I promise I won’t let this trust go to waste.”
