Isabella approached, looking at him with a dismissive gaze. “Never mind, Damian. I just need some entertainment. You can keep playing at being the perfect father. But I will remain a woman who lives on my own terms.”
With that, Isabella turned and strode out of the room confidently, leaving Damian still standing by his son’s bed, his heart filled with anger and disappointment.
