Chapter 32

Elsewhere, in a skyscraper belonging to the largest fashion company in the city, Nathan was examining the financial statements. He sat up straight, his face calm but focused. His assistant, Kevin, knocked softly on the door and entered.

“Mr. Nathan,” Kevin greeted.

Nathan didn’t take his eyes off the screen. “What is it?”

Elena just smiled slightly. Five years is not a short time. She had left with scars and hopes, and now she was back with success and strength. She had managed to build a business empire.

“I just received some information,” he said as he handed over a file. “Miss Elena—she’s returned to the country.”

In that instant, Nathan stopped everything he was doing. His gaze sharpened.

“Elena?” he whispered. “Are you sure?”

The assistant nodded. “I confirmed it myself. She landed this morning with her four children.”

Nathan leaned back in his chair, staring blankly out the window. His eyes softened, and a faint smile formed.
