Chapter 31

Tamara nodded. “Let’s start a new chapter, Queen Elisabeth. A chapter no longer filled with pain and betrayal. A chapter of hope and success.”

With growing confidence, Elena closed her laptop, picked up the folder containing the business plan, and walked over to the window. There, she gazed out into the silent night, as if searching for signs of a bright future..

“Now, everything changes,” she whispered softly. “I will leave, and the world will know who Elena really is.”

That morning, Nathan sat in his study with a cup of coffee that hadn’t even been touched. He stared blankly at his laptop screen until a soft knock on the door broke his reverie.

“Come in,” he said simply.

His assistant entered with a brown folder.

“Sorry to interrupt, Mr. Nathan,” the assistant said carefully. “There’s an important letter that just arrived this morning. From Miss Elena.”

Nathan’s eyes immediately sharpened. “Elena?”

“Yes, sir,” Kevin replied
