Richard’s POV

Ten minutes later…

As I got back to my office, I noticed Jenna wasn’t on site—so was Eric.

“Where did everyone go?”

I walked to my desk, but a loud noise stopped me in my tracks.

It was coming from Jenna’s desk.

“She must have forgotten to turn off her alarm timer.”

I walked to her desk to turn it off, but it came from her drawer, not her desk.

I pulled the drawer and took the phone from it.

I hadn’t actually seen her with that phone before.

I unlocked the phone, which had no password, and turned off the alarm—but something came in just in time.

I clicked on it, and before I knew it, I was being nosy.

The sender: What do you mean by you are done?!

Jenna: I’m done, and I mean it. She didn’t do anything to me, and here I was, stupid enough to have believed you, and now everything has gone south.

The sender: I should have known you were weak, you slut!
