Richard’s POV

“His best friend!” Reagan exclaimed. She was as surprised as I was.

“That’s wild!” I managed to say.

That was how she got to know—how did she know?

“So he has been this close to both of them!”

My heart developed another level of fear. How could someone that close to you want to harm you and your spouse? To what end?

“That explains how he was able to get into the hospital—because he has been familiar with her to an extent!” Reagan pointed out.

“He must have trusted Jason a lot, for Sonia not to want to tell him!”

If there was one thing I could do, I would single-handedly go back in time and correct the past for Anita—no one else. She would not have met Damien or his monster best friend.
