Damien’s POV
I sat around for a long time just to take in the whole vibe and scenery of the place. Kids played around and were happy, which made me remember when I was a kid.
I had always pressured my mom to take me to her workplace; unlike other kids that wanted to play sand games or hide and seek, I had always wanted to be taken to my mom’s workplace. There was just something that excited my mom about her work, and I wanted to know it all.
She was a certified registered nurse. Oh, how much she loved her work!
My mom had loved her work to such an extent that she revived a newborn baby who had been reported to have died in the womb.
She had the toughest hope and faith in God.
I missed her so much, and I wished she was still here with me as I watched these children play around, and I had wished I had played recklessly and innocently like these kids in the park.
