Chapter 26

Damien’s POV

“So do you mean I can claim the kids once I can discover and prove that they are mine?” I asked.

“Yes, you can, but DNA proof will be needed in the court case, Damien,” Alvin, my personal lawyer, proposed.

I had known Alvin for years, and he had also been invited to my wedding. One would have thought Jason was my best friend, but no, it was Alvin. He was intelligent, smart, and full of life.

Fortunately for him, he is married with two gorgeous twin kids, and his wife worked in my firm as my receptionist. I had offered her a much higher position, but she just loved to be a calm, nice, and kind receptionist.

And let’s not forget to add that Alvin and his wife Kiana were both low-key billionaires, but they never loved the attention, so they decided to go as humble as being a lawyer and his wife a receptionist.

“Are you really sure you saw Anita? I mean, you know that could be her lookalike,” Alvin asked to confirm.
