They were lying directly on the carpeted floor. His back had started to hurt, but he didn’t want to get up and be away from Killian even if it was just for a few seconds. The morning had started creeping in and Mike wrapped his arms around Killian more tightly.

“Are you cold?” He asked and pulled the blanket over Killian’s shoulders.

“No, I’m okay. But we should be getting up.”

“It’s not even seven yet.”

“But Jesse will be back soon.”

“I sent him a message earlier and he said not to worry.”

“Maybe we should call him?” Killian sat up.

“I tried but I guess his phone was dead. It’s fine. really. I can guess where he is.” Mike pulled him back next to him.” You worry too much.”

“I worry just enough.”

Then Killian le
