Chapter 36. Rivers of Memories
Michelle and Rachel bickered about how they can do the plan without hurting Luther. Either way, she still had him wrapped around her finger. Rachel sat down at the bench overlooking the river, and Michelle pointed at the spot where she drowned.
“That’s where you drowned, isn’t it?”
Rachel tried to see the difference between the waves. It’s like an endless void of water curls.
“What exactly come into my mind to be drowned in there?” Rachel asked. Because in the present time, Rachel knew exactly what she did to drown in the vast ocean: to drown and forget the love she had for Luther, and ceased to exist in that year, too.
“You were chasing a dog. I have seen it, too, and you screamed happily that it is a dog. I don’t see it as that one, but it made me think that you’re… whacked in the head.”
