Chapter 40. The Fiancée
The table was served. Primary and luxurious guest Luther Griffin visited his one and only, Rachel Han, deserved to be served a feast. Mrs. Riddle Littlewick gathered some of the cream of the crop students to introduce towards Luther, and he shook his hands one by one.
Rachel was there at the corner, crossing her arms over her chest, accompanied by Michelle.
He looked so goofy and playful, being all attentive to the girls who tried to wrap his fingers.
“How can he be that friendly right after he came? I didn’t even know Luther could be this…”
Michelle was also watching him from that corner. Luther’s smile was no other than the smile he gave towards Rachel. She sighed, pretended to help with the kitchen as they served some food. Michelle asked, “Did you ask him to come the day before the two of you agreed to the rendezvous? I mean, he wouldn’t come here if you become overly romantic with your letter.”
