Chapter 39. Luther’s Arrival
The wind breeze was bitingly cold as Luther rushed to the carriage. He held the letter Rachel sent and can’t contain the grin in his lips. Luther wore his best embossed coat and didn’t even have the chance to carry any luggage. Rachel was the only thing running in his mind right now, and it’s marvellous to see her in months.
While looking out at the forest that separates the Queen’s School for Women and Victorian School of Law, Luther had listed down the things he wanted to do with Rachel for a short period of time. He wanted to spend this week off from doing school and practicing in court to be with Rachel.
Reaching the stopovers, Luther wondered how long the distance was.
The henchman replied, “It’s a few kilometres now, Master Griffin. We just have to rest the horses for a while and let them sip some water.”
Luther made the way to the track, and opened the letter once again.
